What drives me
to create with code?

Building and enhancing software to make people's days better is what I do. Passion for learning and improvement has always been part of me. In high school, I began by taking simple HTML web design course. While working for the City of New York I became interested in web automation and web development. Between work and pursuing my own outside interests, I have seen just how much the right technology can help people every day. Now I devote my time to building those products, solving problems and saving time.

AI Travel Guide Homepage

AI Travel Guide

AI Travel Guide powered by OpenAI, using React, Vite and Chakra UI. Type a location and click the button to see list of things to do; with a map using the Google Maps API.

Opening Night Lighting Homepage

Opening Night Lighting

Designed and developed a professional website for Opening Night Lighting LLC. Used HTML, CSS, React with TypeScript and Next.js to export static site.

Instagram Clone

Clone of Instagram created using React and Google's Firebase. Project to practice using React framework, React Router and Firebase for authentication and storage. Users can create account using Firebase email authentication and upload images. Images are stored using Firebase Storage and displayed in React component with working like and comment system.

Blog API

Blog created using Express/Node and MongoDB (with Mongoose). Project to practice using an API only backend to create, read, update and delete blog posts and comments (saved using Mongoose schema to MongoDB Atlas). Homepage with script to fetch and display blog posts and comments. Bootstrap used for CSS styling of cards.

My Tech Skills

I enjoy keeping up with current and upcoming industry tools, frameworks and trends. I'm most comfortable with the MERN JavaScript stack but always happy to add a new tool to my belt!
